In information theory and computer science information is usually referred to in terms of bits, or nats, etc.   Here it is preferable to first consider information in terms of page units. The subject of discrete philosophy defines the "page" in mathematical terms which continues the physical perspective of information.   At the same time it also allows for an intuitively philsophic view of information in terms of page units.
