What is important to remember is that the entire page is treated as a single geometric object.   That is, all the blank areas on the page are just as much a part of the geometry as the contents themselves.

Something else to note: Normally when we create some geometric image it's usually one at a time.   Here, in this thought-experimental example, we suddenly generated a mega-digits worth of unique geometric figures.
